"BC, short for Buttercup, is a bundle of fun I rescued in Klamath Falls, OR.   Now, I never put anything healthy into my body; it would go into shock, but I don't feel the same about BC.  I vowed to raise the healthiest, happiest animal I could, and started investigating dogfood nutrition online. Fascinating, but rather than whip up BC's daily consumption myself, I opted for simply choosing a brand wisely.

 

"Still needing to satisfy some Betty Crocker hankerings, I decided to try my hand at home made dog treats.  Purchasing ingredients as foreign to my cupboards as tofu, I experimented and used BC and the neighbor's dogs as my taste-testers, but not before yours truly taste-tested things herself.  So yes, humans can eat them if they really wanted, although if you haven’t tasted carob yet, you’re in for a surprise.

"One thing led to another, and the business developed from pre-baked treats to mixes which you bake yourself, adding whatever special ingredients your pet loves.  It's a bonding experience, it's fun, nutritious for Rover, and the best part?  No calories on the baker's hips!

"Our latest news is the endorsement of Dogs for the Deaf™, with whom we've just begun a joint venture to promote their organization and our wholesome product.  General Manager Vaughn Maurice is looking forward to being able to train more dogs for their great programs. That's really the best part."
