"What are You Bake 'em's?"
They're simple to make, wholesome treat mixes that you bake for your pampered poochl. Spoil You Pet! In a good, healthy way. Watch that tail go thump, thump as you're mixing and baking; this simple act is a bonding experience you'll both enjoy.

The inspiration for You Bake 'em treats is BC, a collie mix, rescued in Southern Oregon by owner Andrea Jansen. She began baking BC's training treats for fun, experimenting with flavors and sharing samples with neighborhood dogs.

In order to satisfy most, if not all, pets, especially those with allergies, Andrea developed two gluten-free recipes: Biscuit Treats, golden brown crisps with a hint of cloves, and Pretzel Snacks, bite-sized nuggets topped with sesame seeds. Decadent sounding but healthy whole wheat Biscotti, prepared with peanut butter, has a nice woof of cinnamon. And finally the latest variety, Vegan Treats...Zero eggs, Zero dairy, Zero meat, but chock full of flavor with oatmeal, applesauce and peanut butter. Yum.

We use local Oregon suppliers whenever possible, and carefully scrutinize all ingredients for hidden fillers. Check our ingredients page, then compare with what's in your cupboard and decide for yourself. But besides all that, it's FUN!

If I can bake 'em, anyone can." That was the goal, and we're always looking to make the experience more pleasant. In that spirit, Andrea has just created printable PDF's on the How-To page, complete with photos. They're not perfect-looking, but that's reality. And we guarantee your dog won't care. As Thoreau said, "Excellence does not require perfection."
